Introduction Currently, the IT industry is undergoing a major change from self-hosted services like ERP systems, databases, web applications, and many more to cloud-based services like SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service). With this change, the need for SDN networks is greater than ever before because the currently used systems like VPNs are not capable of the performance an SDN or a local network has. Therefore, the SDNs must be secure and reliable especially to comply with European GDPR policy.
